Abstrak

The design of the Football Stadium in Deli Serdang Regency aims to provide a representative sports facility that meets international standards, supporting the improvement of athletes’ performance while also encouraging greater community participation in football. Beyond serving as a venue for matches, the stadium is envisioned as a multifunctional center for social, cultural, and economic activities that can strengthen regional identity, attract tourists, create job opportunities, and enhance the image of Deli Serdang as a sports destination. The design concept adopts the principles of Modern Architecture, emphasizing simplicity of form, functional efficiency, and the integration of sustainable and environmentally friendly aspects. The research methodology involves a literature review to establish theoretical foundations, comparative studies of similar stadiums, field observations to understand the site context, and a comprehensive analysis of the opportunities and challenges of the selected location. The final outcome is an international-standard stadium design that is comfortable, functional, and iconic, serving as a new landmark for Deli Serdang while contributing significantly to the development of both sports and regional tourism.
