Abstrak

PT. Indonesia Pacific Energi is a company engaged in the coal mining industry where one of its contractors is PT Anugerah Covindo Indonesia (PT. ACI) where the research was conducted. The Mining Services Business License (IUJP) owned by the company with an area of ​​3,427 hectares. The drainage system applied is the mine dewatering system and also mine drainage based on the planned rainfall calculated per month. The rain catchment area at the research location has an area of ​​26.81 Ha. The source of water entering the pit is runoff water with a stagnant water volume of 51,798.77 m3, which is very large from the maximum sump capacity of 12.300 m3 where the sump capacity is very small for this water, therefore pumping is carried out using a defflopump cn 103 type pump with a maximum pump discharge of 222.22 m3 / hour or 4,444 m3 / day. To dry the stagnant water, the pump working hours to remove the volume of water from the well are 20 hours per day, so the water will dry in 17 days. The drainage channel used is an open trapezoidal channel so that the channel walls are not easily collapsed with a maximum water flow rate of 7.37 m3/second. Water from the pumping results will enter the open channel before being channeled to the mud sedimentation pond with a water discharge from the pumping results of 0.065 m3/second and also water from the catchment area of ​​4.5 liters/second, so the water discharge entering the channel is 0.0655 m3/second. The shape of the existing sedimentation pond is rectangular and made winding consisting of 3 compartments with the dimensions of the sedimentation pond each compartment is 10 m long, 7 m wide, 2 m deep with a sedimentation pond volume of 330 m3. where the existing sedimentation pond is not yet suitable for sedimentation of particles in water from the Mega sump site.
