Abstrak

PT. Dizamatra Powerindo is a company that operates in the coal mining business located in Kebur Village, West Merapi District, District. Lahat, South Sumatra. PT. Dizamatra Powerindo carries out Coal Processing Plant activities using the Kobelco SK 330 Bucket Crusher Excavator unit and the Allu DH 3-23 bucket crusher type. The production target in July was 285.000 tons/month, but in reality the production achieved in June was only 237.854,63 tons/month, likewise in July, the production target could not be achieved. The aim of this research is to obtain and increase the productivity of coal processing plant equipment, namely the bucket crusher excavator, the factors causing the failure to achieve coal production, as well as evaluating efforts to increase the productivity of the bucket crusher excavator equipment to increase and achieve production targets every month after repairs are carried out. The data taken in the field consists of the cycle time of the excavator bucket crusher, the obstacles that occur which can hinder production achievements and the company's supporting data. In collecting cycle time data from the excavator bucket crusher, use a stopwatch and collect 50 data for this tool. And collecting data on obstacles that occur is by direct observation in the field of equipment and operators. In this research, an analysis and calculation of the productivity of the excavator bucket crusher tool was carried out for further evaluation and improvement efforts. The results of the evaluation of the productivity of the excavator bucket crusher showed that the productivity of the excavator bucket crusher had no problems, however the productivity of the excavator bucket crusher did not reach the company's planned target, this was due to low work efficiency and the many obstacles that occurred in the field. Efforts have been made to increase the productivity of the excavator bucket crusher by increasing effective working time by fixing obstacles that can be avoided, such as minimizing the operator's time playing on the cellphone, stopping work before taking a break, working late after taking a break and stopping work before the working hour is over so that efficiency work increased from 68,7% to 72% and improved cycle time from 34.79 seconds to 30.20 seconds. So the productivity of the excavator bucket crusher increased from 237.322,67 tons/month to 264.213,56 tons/month.
