Abstract

South Nias is a Nias district with a rich and widespread cultural history, but now, little by little, this history is starting to be forgotten among the people and also some of the artifacts from the history of South Nias are not being preserved and are starting to lose their cultural elements, so for this reason a container in the form of a building is needed to protect it. original Nias culture and history and make the building an exhibition place for original Nias artifacts so that both native Nias people and outsiders can visit and document the history of the original Nias culture. The museum building is one of the places to preserve elements of South Nias culture and also its history with a neo vernacular architectural planning approach in its construction so that the design of this building cannot be separated from the cultural culture of traditional South Nias houses in the form of houses on stilts so that it can become its own attraction.
