Abstract

This study aims to plan and design a Green Architecture-themed resort in the Tangkahan region of North Sumatra, with a primary focus on minimizing negative impacts on the ecosystem, enhancing visitor appeal, and meeting tourist needs. The research methodology encompasses a descriptive approach, literature review, case studies, analysis, synthesis, and conclusion, providing a comprehensive foundation for resort planning and design while considering the principles of Green Architecture. The research results include a resort plan and design that integrates aesthetics and functionality, with a strong emphasis on environmental sustainability through the use of eco-friendly materials, renewable energy sources, and effective waste management systems. This resort is expected to promote harmony between humans and nature while supporting the development of tourism in the Tangkahan area.
