Abstrak

Tourism is an important part of improving the economy of a region. The natural potential of the mountains in Langkat Regency will certainly be a reference in tourism and invite local and domestic tourists. Therefore, a mountain resort is a resort that is classified as a tourist area, where some of the visitors who stay overnight do not carry out business activities. Generally located quite far from the city center and functioned as a place of rest and holidays. In accordance with the purpose of the existence of mountain resorts, namely being able to provide holiday facilities, providing a sense of comfort and getting out of routine, utilizing existing natural potential. The planning and design of this Mountain Resort in Langkat Regency uses the Ecological Architecture theme approach, which is the science of the relationship between organisms and their environment. This approach incorporates environmental conservation into all aspects of architectural design and building construction.
