Abstrak

Hotel is a type of accommodation that is managed commercially and is designed to provide services, lodging, as well as food and drink to all individuals. The increasingly rapid growth of society in the last few decades has led to an increase in the tourism industry and demand for quality accommodation for tourists and travelers. As time goes by, more and more open space has been sacrificed for housing development. Increasing carbon emissions, decreasing air quality and unsustainable use of natural resources have become major issues that require serious attention. In this context, the concept of green architecture has become an increasingly popular solution throughout the world. Green architecture, or often referred to as sustainable architecture, aims to reduce the environmental impact of buildings and maximize the use of renewable natural resources. In connection with the above, a planning concept is needed to introduce an innovative and sustainable project in Medan City: Green Architecture Hotel. The hotel will be a new landmark that not only offers high-quality accommodation, but also makes a positive contribution to the environment and local community.
