PERANCANGAN SIRKUIT KARTING MEDAN DENGAN PENDEKATAN ARSITEKTUR POST-MODERN

Abstract

Along with the development and progress of the Indonesian nation in various fields, accompanied by the development of automotive sports in Indonesia, especially car racing. This can be seen from last year's Jakarta E-Prix event, as well as the rise of Indonesian national racers. In automotive sports, the most enjoyed by the public is starting from go-karts. So that the go-kart sport facility is needed, which is called the Medan Karting Circuit. For the selection of themes for the building, the theme of post-modern architecture was determined. The application of a post-modern theme to the building exudes dynamism in automotive sports. Things that need attention is the incorporation of safety elements into the circuit. Because the function of the circuit is inseparable from safety without eliminating obstacles and adrenaline in exercising on the circuit.
