Abstract

Traces of human civilization in several eras are marked by the ability to think, intellectual abilities in creating and developing new ideas and innovation sherefore, in the development process, facilities are needed that are able to accommodate the education and creativity center of the community, namely the library. North Tapanuli is an area that really needs library facilities. A district that has several schools and universities, The Thematic Approach to the design of this library is Neo Vernacular Architecture.In this approach, the library is expected to be able to create platforms that support the development of educational and creative programs, so that the library is not only about reading but there is a learning process through other forms. Create new ideas or ideas with a system that is more compatible and in accordance with the character of the community.
